Description
Public radio producers strive to create “driveway moments”: those instances when radio listeners are so engrossed by what they are listening to that they stay in their car even when they reach their home. Why shouldn't other nonprofit organizations create digital storytelling that similarly engrosses your supporters? In this session, radio producers share the nuts and bolts of effective storytelling and how to create stories that get to the heart of issues and move people to action. We'll also talk about what makes audio a uniquely intimate medium that nonprofits could add to their digital toolbox with new online tools.
1. Learn what makes a good story and how to implement this into their organization's communication strategy
2. Learn more about new tools for using audio within your organization's community strategy
3. Get new ideas on how to integrate storytelling and audio production into the work of their nonprofit
